Georgia Army National Guard Readiness Center
This is a 31,181 SF Readiness Center at Hunter Army Airfield. The facility includes anti-terrorism/force protection features and a separate Maintenance Training Building. Both buildings are constructed of masonry construction (block and brick), pre-engineered metal truss roof structures and standing seam metal roofs. The building features administrative, SIPRNET, educational/training, assembly areas, arms vault/weapons storage, locker rooms, multiple heated unit storage spaces, and physical fitness areas. The vehicle maintenance training provides training work bays with overhead doors, flammable storage, vehicle exhaust system, trench drains, oil/grease lubrication system, compressed air system and oil/waters/solids separator system. The project was designed for LEED Silver certification, but our team was able to achieve Gold certification at no additional cost to the Government.
