Jacksonville Humane Society, Community Animal Hospital
The Community Animal Hospital is 6,500 SF and constructed from CMU with stucco. The building has a flat roof, in addition to a standing seam metal roof. Sustainable elements such as natural lighting and renewable materials were incorporated into the facility. There are exam rooms; treatment rooms; surgery rooms with medical gas and surgery lighting; recovery areas (isolation wards; hospital wards; canine wards with kennels; feline wards with kennels; general offices; and a reception area and lobby.
