Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, Structural Test Hangar

This project consists of the construction of an approximately 71,000 SF addition including two hangars, multipurpose room, shop and fabrication area and a two-story office space and control room. Complex systems including UPS, Cooling Tower and process water for equipment cooling, chilled-water supply and return piping to central plant, hydraulic piping, compressed air, overhead cranes, strong floor and anchor floors used for aircraft testing. All work was completed while keeping the existing structural test facility in operation to maintain Gulfstream’s scheduled delivery dates.
