University of North Florida, Student Union

Elkins provided CM at Risk services for this 148,019 SF, three-story facility for The University of North Florida. This iconic building is the centerpiece of the campus. The building has meeting space, dining facilities, a bookstore, convenience store, leased retail space, administrative offices, banquet hall, lounges, student services offices and activity spaces including a grand ball room for events. The construction is precast concrete with structural steel and boasts high-end finishes. This is a LEED Gold building. UNF and Elkins completed the first LEED Certified building on campus, the Social Sciences Building, in 2006.
